FACES MAKING A DIFFERENCE

FACES of Total Victory® has experienced much growth as Board Chairwoman Janet Linder helped reach out to the new Clemson University Softball coaches and players as well as the Clemson University Women’s Basketball Team. We were also excited to support the Gamecock Women’s Basketball team at the SEC Tournament and FACES Board Member and Coach Decole Shoemate Robertson and the Lander University Bearcats!

FACES supporting teams during competition and providing Team Growth experiences.

The year 2020 brought about huge challenges and constant changes into our lives and also into the world of sports. Thankfully, FACES of Total Victory® was created with the freedom to think outside the box, be flexible, adjust when needed, and follow the guidance and example of how Jesus chose to serve, value, and minister to women. We are so thankful that by building genuine relationships, with Jesus and each other, ministry never stops. We were honored to be able to walk with our coaches through extremely difficult times and celebrate the joyful times in their lives! When sports resumed we worked with our coaches to provide safe ways to reach out to their athletes, while following all school rules. We socially distanced and wore our masks while providing outside ” Drive By Devotions” and “Team Picnics”.

FACES has expanded our reach to younger girls recreational leagues. Founder Kaye O’Sullivan shares the Gospel with an 8U softball team after a cold practice and Board Member Caroline Haney helps coach a 10U softball team!

FACES of Total Victory® often receives requests from coaches for helpful resources. We are pleased to present “Victorious”, a new and unique devotional by Board Member Leah O’Brien Amico, to many of our coaches. It is available for purchase on Amazon.

WOMEN WHO COACH LUNCH BREAK

FACES of Total Victory® is hosting Women Who Coach Lunch Breaks across our school campuses. We enjoy providing lunch, a gift of appreciation, and encouragement to all the women who coach. We also use that opportunity to discuss issues they deal with as female coaches and ways that we can better serve and support them. We are having a great response to these luncheons!  If there is a school you support and you would like to help host and provide food for the ladies coaching there, we still have a few opportunities available. Just email Kaye O’Sullivan at Kaye@facesoftotalvictory.org.
