Kaye O’Sullivan, Founder and Executive Director of FACES of Total Victory®, has had a love for sports, people, and Jesus practically her entire life.
Growing up during a time when there was little opportunity or respect for girls’ sports, she played wherever she could find a team or a league. In the late 1960’s and early 70’s, this consisted of American Legion Teams and church-league basketball, as even her high school didn’t have a team for girls.
The implementation of Title IX gave her an opportunity to play and letter in basketball during college at the University of South Carolina, Spartanburg (now USC Upstate).
Women’s teams received very little support, as they truly played for the “love of the game.” She met her husband, who was a football player at Wofford College at the time, while in a gym practicing basketball. They have been married for 48 years, have two sons, and four active grandchildren.
Kaye’s love and passion to serve female athletes and coaches is fueled by these life experiences as a female athlete and her love for Jesus. She spent the past 18 years in sports ministry seeing God turn visions for female ministry into reality and is excited to see what God continues to do with FACES of Total Victory® NP!

“When I was about the age of seven, my mother saw my passion for basketball and said to me, ‘Janet, the Lord has given you a talent and love for basketball; you ought to play for Him.’ From that day on I played sports for the honor and glory of God. My mama’s words have remained strong in my heart and soul since my playing days. That’s why I want to be involved with FACES of Total Victory, as this ministry will impact many young women’s lives in a positive way. They will be given a chance to learn about living a healthy lifestyle and an opportunity to have a relationship with God who can change their lives forever. My prayer is that this ministry will encourage girls to live their lives with Godly character and stand strong in this world no matter what battles they face. Imagine the many FACES glowing with Total Victory all over this community and around the world!”

As a player, she led her high school basketball team to a state championship and college teams to a NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearance and a Carolina’s –Virginia Athletic Conference Championship.
“FACES of Total Victory is a relevant and necessary entity for our female athletes and coaches of today. In a society where our very identity as women is constantly being challenged and re-defined, this ministry will be a constant beacon of truth and hope. My desire to serve on this board arose from the minimal support available to myself as a wife, mother, and coach. While the combination is not rare, navigating the journey often seems uncharted. I look forward to being part of FACES of Total Victory, which will serve as a source of support and as a vehicle to journey alongside others.”
Jen Pearson
Jen is a former high school tennis and basketball athlete who went on to compete on the Rowing Team at Clemson University. She currently works alongside her husband in their restaurant business and enjoys spending time with her son and daughter at their sporting events.
“Female athletics offers a special space for women to thrive, challenge themselves, and build a unique sisterhood. I have been blessed to experience being an athlete, coach, and cheering parent, now an encourager for female athletes and coaches through my role with FACES of Total Victory® NP! I’m very excited to be a part of what the Lord continues to do through Mrs. Kaye and this passionate team!”
